The holidays have started! Hope you're enjoying them. I'm a little bit bored without you! I miss reading your awesome stories, so here is your challenge!

ReplyDeleteIn the holidays we went to Lake Rotoaira, and we stayed there for two nights, it was freezing, because it is very close to mount Ruapehu.
Then we went to see Nana Judy and Poppa Wayne at motutere bay, in the camp grounds, it was great to see them both. We went shopping and mum spent heaps of money and dad wasn't very happy after that, lol. We all went to Puzzle world just out of Taupo, it was so much fun we got to play in the maze and golf and heaps of other puzzles there, we also had lunch there too.
After that we went to the Huka Falls it was very scary, as i thought to myself it wouldn't be very nice to fall in.
On Wednesday we went to Rotorua and dad was sick so we stayed in the motor camp unit. While dad was asleep in the hotel unit, mum took caylee and I to the Spa pool and it was very warm and the bubbles were so Hugh.
The next day we all went to see the sheep show, and I went up on stage and milked the cow, it was so much fun being able to pull on the cows tits and getting milk into the bucket. The tits were very squishy. I got a certificate saying that i did it and it has my name on it. After that we went on a farm tour of the Agrodome and we got to taste Kiwifruit juice and mum had the wine she said it was yummy.
After all that we went into town, and once again mum spent money and dad wasn't happy again lol, man she spends alot of money but its mainly on us kids.
The next day we went to the Gondolas, mum and I went on the luge, it was fast going down the hill but we got to go back up on the chair lift.
I have some pictures to show you when we get back to school.
On the Saturday we went to Hastings to pick up my cousin Jayde, she is staying with us for the rest of the holidays at home.
I will tell you the rest of my holidays when we get back to school.

It sounds like you have had a very fun holiday. What a great time you've been having. What was your favourite part of your holiday and why? I've had a very quiet holiday. I've been resting up and thinking of new and exciting things for us to do this term at school.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite part of my holiday was going to the Spa, because of the hugh bubbles and it was nice and warm, also going on the luge at the skyline because it was fast going down the hills on the luge, also the puzzle world because there was heaps to do.
I'm glad you have rested up and have got heaps of stuff for all of us to do at school next week can't wait.

In the holidays, I went to Gisborne for a week. I was car sick on the way there because it was really rainy and windy. When we got there Gracie and I jumped on the cottage beds! It was fun. We went to Mahia Penisula and went to the hot pools at Morere. They are in native bush and soooo nice and warm, we sat in the outside pool while it was raining with the tuis in the trees.
ReplyDeleteYesterday we played mini golf at Feilding. Dad won. It was a little bit hard but I got there in the end!

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you have had great holidays! My holidays wern't quite as exciting as yours. I went to visit my Mum and Dad in Dannevirke. My little sister Erin was down visiting them from Hamilton too. It was very sad because my brother is moving to England (I will show you were that is on the map) in August and I won't see him for a very long time. But, I had lots of fun in Dannevirke spending time with my family.

In the holidays we went to Wellington for 4 days.
ReplyDeleteIt was awesome because we did lots of cool things like going to the zoo,cable cars,weta studios,bungy jumping and lots more. I went with my mum,dad,brothers,sisters, Nana and grandad. It was the greatest we only had breakfast at our hotel then we didn't come home till dark. It was cool when we went out for tea because i got to put lemonades and raspberrys on the tab. I hope that every body else had a great holiday.

ReplyDeleteI spent most of my holidays at chill out(school holiday program)we did alot of swiming we also went to lollie pops,mini golf over in feilding and to the movies we watched shreck and did lots of other cool stuff.i sayed at my nans as well we went to see toy story in 3D i stayed there another time and played with my friend from mums work we played with my army men,jets,boats,tanks and bikes.My dad looked after me as well we went to the city liberay to the beach and did some shopping to get some rugby socks to go with my moter bike gears.my moter bike gares turnd up at my dads work so Dad Mum Gwen and i went to the beach to ride my moter bike .I was getting realy good so i was riding down the beach in second gear as fast as i could go i then got the wobbles and did a mean as tank slapper(fell off over the handel bars)since i was wereing my moter bike gears it didnt heart (much) i was even brave and got back on but didnt go as fast . MY faverite thing i did on my holiday was playing with my army men at my nans.

ReplyDeleteWow! Sounds like you had a very eventful holiday! I can't believe you fell off your motorbike!! I'm glad it didn't hurt - you're very brave!!! I loved looking at the pictures of you on your bike - i'm super impressed! Was it cold at the beach?
My favourite part of my holidays was going to my friends baby's 1st birthday party. Lachlan turned 1 during the holidays so we had a big party for him! He got soooo many presents. It was lots of fun playing with him and all his new toys!
You guys are super amazing for telling me your holiday stories. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten I said I would suss out some prizes! But you'll have to wait until Friday....

ReplyDeleteBungy Jumping?! Wow!! You are super brave. We have a lot of dare devils in Room 16! I have never been to Weta Studios. What was it like? What did you do there? You lucky thing getting to go back to the zoo again! I hope the weather was a little brighter for you this time! Did the rest of your family enjoy the zoo trip?
