Writing Poems

Room 16 has had so much fun writing poems this week.  Here is the one we wrote together as a class.  It's called FIRE.  What do you think?

	Fire
	hot	ash
	hurts	your	lungs
	orange	and	yellow	flames
	dangerous	to	be	close	to
	nose	gets	all	tickly
	eyes	start	watering
	run	away
	scary

Duffy Theatre

On Friday the Duffy Theatre came to Roslyn School.

Duffy Assembly!

Allison, who played Yvonne on Shortland Street came to visit Roslyn School today!!!  She came as part of our Role Models assembly and to talk to us about being an actor.  Alison told us how important reading is if you want to be an actor just like she is!  

Allison handed out our Duffy Books to us and we got to read them when we got back to our classroom.

We also sung the Duffy Song!  We are looking foward to the Duffy Theatre on Friday!
